We are looking forward to welcoming you in Frankfurt for our Workshop on "Additive Manufacturing for Linear Accelerators (AM4Linacs)" from July 31st to August 1st 2025.
In the following, you will find all you need to know in preparation for the workshop.

Scientific Program
A preliminary program has been established and we will be updating it leading up to the workshop. Please note that most talks are 20 or 25 minutes (including discussion time). You can check your allotted time in the workshop timetable:

Billing/Registration Fee
Some of you may be wondering, why your registration status is still "not paid". This is most likely just because notifications from our billing department regarding payments received can be delayed quite a lot.
Do not worry, we consider everyone who has registered to be allowed to participate.
1. If you have already paid the registration fee, please either send me an E-Mail with the transaction confirmation OR bring it to the workshop.
2. If you need a formal invoice (and only then) for your institution, please let us know before paying any fees. (A confirmation of the received payment can be issued afterwards in any case)
3. As a last resort, you will be able to pay in cash at the workshop on Thursday morning.
Workshop Dinner (Sponsored by Bevatech GmbH)
The Workshop Dinner will be held on Thursday evening in a traditional Frankfurt Restaurant called "Zum Lahmen Esel" (translates to "At the Lame Donkey"), where you will be presented with a choice of traditional Frankfurt/German cuisine. The venue is only about a 10 min walk from the workshop. To go there together, we will meet in front of the physics building at 18:30 (departure at 18:40).

Wednesday evening meetup (informal)
If you would like to meet up on Wednesday evening already for an informal Meetup, we will meet at the Restaurant "Park Avenue" at 19:00. A limited reservation for everyone who noted interest has been made. Feel free to join us.
Registration & Workshop Venue
The workshop will be held in Room 02.201a+b in the Physics building (Max-von-Laue-Str. 1, 60438 Frankfurt). There will be directions given in the building.
Registration will be opens at 8:00 on Thursday (July 31st) morning in front of the seminar room. The first session starts at 9:00.

Further Information
WiFi: eduroam and free Wifi (SSID: "guestGU") will be available.
Catering: Coffee and Drinks will be provided for the whole duration (thursday, friday). Lunch break ("cold") and Coffee break will be provided at the workshop.
Presentation slides: A common workshop laptop will be used for presentations. Please provide your slides in PDF (and if you like Powerpoint) format. If you created an indico account, you should be able to upload the slides. Otherwise please bring the slides to us at least half an hour before the session (details will follow).
